Instructions for:

Bio | Curriculum Vitae | Resume
1. You can display a 1 file biography, a 1 file curriculum vitae, and a 1 file resume. All you have to do is create them in html files (or a MS Word files) for each named "bio.htm," "cv.htm," and "res.htm," respectively.
html files are prefered since there is less work for us certainly. However there are also major advantages to you. If you submit only MS Word files for each, these files will be linked to by three links as above. This means that visitors will be able to download each file and open it on their computer. But imagine if the contents of each were searchable on the internet. Having the files in html format allows people to search for you or information that might point to you through common search engines. If you want to sell yourself this is how it's done!
We will frame these objects so you won't have to worry about menu systems or visitors getting lost.
Special note: Leave a good 2 inches or 5 centimeters of blank space at the bottom of each page, which might be covered by our gallery menu frames. If you've ever used AOL's webmail you know what I mean...
2. You can put whatever you want into each, serious or not. However you are limited by our NO HATE, NO SPAM, NO ABUSE, NO VIRUS, NO ADULT only language or images or sounds policy. Keep it honest, keep it friendly, and most of all keep in mind your are trying to sell yourself to employers!
Open up our example bio, cv, and resume above and save them on your computer. You can re-edit these files to get yourself started. Simple html files like these can be edited inside of MS Word, Macromedia Dreamweaver, or MS Frontpage as easily as typing a letter.
Be sure and insert your full name and the user ID (without the rest of your email address ... @domain.com) you used when registering in the Bulletin Board, at the top of each. For feedback or comments from them, send them to the bulletin board! This will save you from receiving mountains of spam or junk email on your email account. If they are a real person and not a SPAM email harvester they will log into the bulletin board system and make there comments or requests there. They can message you, and you to them, inside the Bulletin Board Messaging system. Remember to check "DO NOT DISPLAY my email address" when setting the options registering inside the bulletin board.
3. Submit all three files in a single *.zip file through contact and support. Name the zip file using the same userid that you use in registering within the bulletin board system.
4. You must electronically sign our Terms of Contribution (TOC) aggreement before we can display any of your work. Read and sign the TOC here.
Samples of My Work
Here is where we'll insert links to the works you have contributed. Please keep in mind, web space costs money. Keep your graphics resolution down to about 72 dpi, on a computer monitor vistors can't see much more than that. Compress audio and only include the segments of audio needed. Cut out the parts you don't need. If the average visitor only listens to about 10 seconds of a 10 minute opera, cut it down to size and then compress it, especially before you insert elements inside Director or Flash !
